Many say that Lake Tahoe’s South Shore is a wonderful place to call home. And they’re absolutely right, especially if you’re a recreational motorcycle rider. South Lake Tahoe is one of the best places in the country with great rides in every direction. Whether it be a 2 hour solo spin after work, a full day trip with the club or a long weekend getaway, living and riding in the High Sierra is having your cake and eating it too.
Rides get scheduled as we get ideas of places to go during the season. Some are last minute, many are planned ahead of time. Make sure you subscribe to our calendar as well as Like us on Facebook page to stay updated on what’s going on.
Please check out our Ride Etiquette so you know what’s expected if you ride with us.
Ride leaves every Tuesday from the Chevron in Meyers at 5:30PM. Typically these rides go to Jethro’s Mexican restaurant in Minden or some other regional locations — we sometimes decide when right before we go! These rides are open to guests. Great for all ability of riders.
We do a number of scheduled overnight rides throughout California and Nevada. These rides are typically 2-3 nights and are open to club members only.
These rides are traditional day long and 200-300 mile rides throughout the Sierras and surrounding areas. These rides are open to club members only. Great for experienced riders but anyone that can ride responsible is welcome — ride with the group within the group that fits your pace best.
Saturday Lunch Rides
Saturday Lunch rides are a relaxed scenic ride with a shorter distance to go and lower pace than the traditional Sunday ride. We usually go somewhere close and have lunch. We stop more frequently and take breaks to chat and take photos. These rides are open to club members only. Great for all ability of riders. These rides are usually “spur of the moment” rides so make sure you keep up with our calendar and Facebook page!
